Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml
Tasting Notes:
The very toasty 2015 Iscay Syrah-Viognier was produced with grapes from a dry-farmed vineyard. It has an herbal twist that I often find in Syrahs from Northern Rhône, with a distinct creaminess. The palate is round and lush and still has some toasty flavors in the finish, which hints at the need of some more time in bottle to try to absorb the oak from 15 months in new barriques. I think I'd like it more with less oak. 15,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2019.
Tasting Notes:
This is always a great red with subdued yet complex aromas of dark berries, peppers and dried meat. Hints of violets, too. Full-bodied, chewy and polished with a beautiful finish that is serious and intense. Needs two or three years to come together. Available in 2019.
