Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml
The 2015 Chablis 1Er Cru Fourchaume had a rather overpowering floral nose that lacked any subtlety, although it did gain composure with aeration and revealed attractive flint aromas mixed with yellow flowers. The palate is well balanced with a lightly honeyed entry, waxy in texture and perhaps needing more acidity to come through on the finish. Drink over the next decade.
Aromas of oyster shells and dried apples with peaches and stones. Full-bodied, tangy and salty with fantastic length and intensity. Goes on for a long time. Linear and tight. Drink in 2020 but already a joy to drink.
