Disgorged in 2013, the non-vintage Franciacorta Brut Rose achieves a beautiful pale pink color with brilliant copper highlights. The style here is streamlined and fresh. You definitely make out those sharp, dry lines of the Brut sparkling philosophy, complete with the crushed stone. White cherry and cranberry appear in small pulses as well. This Pinot Nero-based sparkler sees 30 months of yeast contact. Drink: 2014-2018. Montenisa is the 60-hectare Franciacorta estate run primarily by the three Antinori daughters, Albiera, Allegra and Alessia. . All these wines are imported to the United States except the Contessa Maggi Riserva.

The 2009 Cristal literally shimmers on the palate, showing great depth and purity in its sumptuous layers of fruit. It is a magnificent wine endowed with superb length and exceptional overall balance. The 2009 Cristal is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The percentage of wine aged in oak is 15%, which is down slightly from previous vintages.
Cristal is a remarkably balanced and refined champagne whose length is inimitable. It has a silky texture and fruity aromas, complemented by a powerful mineral quality with white fruit and citrus notes. Cristal is a wine that keeps well: it can be conserved for over twenty years without losing its freshness and character.
