Tasting Notes:

The 2013 Tinto Winemaker's Choice Howard's Folly is a 40/30 blend of Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, with 20% Aragonez and the rest Touriga Nacional, aged in a roughly two-thirds/one-third mixture of stainless steel and used oak (French and American) for nine months. It comes in at 14% alcohol. This was once intended for the Sonhador, but the winery felt it was better and decided to bottle it separately. Plus, the Reserva was declassified in 2013, so that fruit is here too. That means you get a pretty nice wine.
