2011 Château Manoir du Gravoux

Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml

Tasting Notes:

Solidly built, with a lightly chalky spine and a dark toast frame, leading to a core of bitter plum, blackberry paste and fig notes. Shows heft through the finish, with the toasty edge prevailing for now. Delivers good cut and should develop in the short-term. Best from 2015 through 2018. 3,500 cases made.

description Producer information Professional reviews

Philippe and Séverine Emile exploit this property leased since 1997. They began marketing their production with the name " Castle Manor Gravoux " . In 2002, they decided to create a new vintage of Chateau Manoir Gravoux "Cuvée La Violette " . In 2007, their last batch is called "The Secret of the Manor " . This was not necessarily an easy vintage to start , but this old one-hectare plot of 1958 , 100% Merlot planted on clay limestone shelf is very favorable for the development of a fleshy , fruity and loaded Character.
