Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml
A precise acidity cuts through the heather, white pepper and white cherry flavors that are flanked with tangerine, wet stone and matchstick details. Elements of floral and spice chime in on the salty finish. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle. Drink now through 2021. 3,400 cases imported.
Coming from 124-acre vineyard along the Mediterranean, the 2019 Cotes De Provence Clos Mireille Rose (63% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 12% Syrah, and the rest Rolle) was fermented in stainless steel before aging on lees in larger oak foudre. This pale pink beauty offers a tight, backward style (which can be expected with lots of time on lees) in its tart strawberry and cherry fruits as well as salty minerality and white flower-like aromas and flavors. It's more expressive on the palate and is medium-bodied, has a rounded, expansive mid-palate, nicely integrated acidity, and a beautiful finish. This classy Côtes de Provence is going to be better with 4-5 months of bottle age and drink well over the following year.
