2015 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Bourgogne Blanc

Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml

Tasting Notes:

The 2015 Bourgogne Blanc has a light grapefruit and fresh melon-scented bouquet with faint chalky notes that surface with aeration. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, a brush of clear honey on the entry with a hint of spice towards the finish. It is a fine introduction to the delights of the domaine's wines.

description Producer information Professional reviews

Domaine Bachelet-Monnot in Dézize (Cote de Beaune) was recently created by Marc and Alexandre Bachelet, grandchildren of Bernard Bachelet. They own 10ha of vine in all, covering Maranges, with 1er cru wine La Fussière in both colours and the semi-monopoly of Clos de la Boutière, Santenay and Puligny-Montrachet, including 1ers crus Referts and Folatières along with grands crus Bienvenues-Bâtard and Bâtard-Montrachet. The whites wines are exceptionally fine.
