Tasting Notes:
A blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, the 2018 Crozes Hermitage les Launes Blanc features notes of creamed corn on the nose, not one of my favorite characters in wine. Otherwise, it's on the neutral side, medium to full-bodied, plump and silky. Drink it young.
Tasting Notes:
Vinified with purchased grapes and in stainless steel with a fresh, red-fruit core and a supple, juicy and attractive palate. Drink now.
Tasting Notes:
Black raspberries, new leather, sappy herbs, and Christmas spice notes all emerge from the medium-bodied 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Les Launes, which has a seamless, elegant texture, and polished tannins. It's a charming, balanced, impeccably put together Crozes Hermitage that can be drunk today or cellared for 8-10 years. This cuvée is always destemmed and brought up in a mix of tank and a small part in barrel.
