2014 Château La Gasparde Cuvée Prestige

Located on the heights of Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux, Château La Gasparde extends over 18 hectares in one piece on the town of Gardegan et Tourtirac. The vineyard exposed to all the beneficent rays of the midday sun, has a natural drainage with slopes over 20% favorable to the production of high quality grapes. Legend has it that one of the peace treaties of the Hundred-year-old was signed right here, where a monumental sculpture of a knight on his steed ever before. Centuries have thankfully calmed Franco-British relations today and enable Jean-Pierre Janoueix, eldest son of Jean-François Janoueix, and current owner of La Gasparde to preach in London for the parish family.
