Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml
Tasting Notes:
The 2012 is a solid, rustic effort displaying notes of licorice, tobacco, and red as well as black currants. Medium-bodied and moderately endowed, it should drink well for 8-10 years. This is the first vintage where Hubert de Bouard consulted with the owners of Haut-Sarpe, so I expect to see steady improvement at this vineyard situated next to Clos de Sarpe.
Tasting Notes:
This has a dense fruit structure with hints of mineral and berry character. Full-bodied, chewy and spicy. Better in 2016.
