Tasting Notes:

Fresh and accessible, this finely balanced rosé shows a delicate palate of white raspberry, pastry and candied lemon zest, with a hint of briny oyster shell riding the lacy mousse. Drink now through 2018.

Tasting Notes:

The NV Brut Rose is a pretty, gracious wine. Freshly cut roses, red berries and spices take shape nicely in the glass as the wine shows off its understated, timeless personality. Billecart-Salmon’s NV Brut Rose is a reliably tasty wine. This is Lot L26712406690A. Disgorged September 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014.

description Producer information Professional reviews

Billecart-Salmon is a medium-sized champagne house in Mareuil-sur-Ay, France. Founded in 1818 with the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, it is one of the few to remain family owned. The Cuvee Nicolas-Francois Billecart 1959 won first place in the Champagne of the Millennium 1999, out of 150 of the finest 20th century champagnes. A magnum of the winning champagne later sold for £3,300. Billecart-Salmon champagnes have also been reviewed favourably by wine writer Jancis Robinson.
