Single Bottle - Standard - 750ml
Tasting Notes:
All Bemberg wines fermented with indigenous yeasts, and the 2016 La Linterna Chardonnay Finca El Tomillo – Parcela #1 Gualtallary is from the shallower plot within that vineyard, which gave the wine a chalky texture. There is little impact from the oak here (only part of the volume matured in oak), and there is varietal character, in a clean and precise way. The acidity is nicely integrated in a lemony way. They first produced this in 2015. 2,111 bottles were filled in March 2019.
Tasting Notes:
Beautiful aromas of toffee, cooked apple and pear with hits of butterscotch and praline. Full body, round and juicy white with truffle, apple and cream. Drink now.
Tasting Notes:
Impressive for a Mendoza Chardonnay. Has a balanced fruity and mineral edge to it. Fresh and well constructed for a first vintage, definitely worthy of cellaring, but no drama if you decide to open straight away.
