Tasting Notes:
Very successful for this difficult vintage, with sage, mint and mulled currant fruit mingling nicely with a roasted cedar edge. Lightly firm and angular on the finish, with obvious maturity, so time to drink up. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Cabernet Franc.--Non-blind Viña Almaviva vertical (January 2011). Past its prime. 10,000 cases made.
Tasting Notes:
The beauty and balance to this are impressive with berry and fresh herb character. Medium-bodied, refined and long. Wonderful, given the difficulty of a wet harvest.
