The National Drink Wine Day 2020



 “Wine is sunlight held together by water.” As quoted by the famous astronomer Galileo Galilei himself. And as we celebrate the National Drink Wine Day this 2020, let us all be reminded why we should drink wine on a moderately consistency basis.



-Wine is rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants are compounds that help prevent cellular damage caused by oxidative stress from imbalance of your body’s antioxidants and free radicals. These antioxidants are mostly found on grapes of red wine.

-Research shows that red wines concentration of polyphenol antioxidants can help reduce of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and metabolic diseases.

-Beneficial for mental health. Some studies shows that moderate drinking of wine may reduce stress and depression. However, excessive intake may lead to opposite effects.

-It also promotes balanced diet for some, as long as it is paired with fruits and vegetables moderately.

-Helps prevent loss of vision according to some researchers. Diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration are the leading cause of vision loss due to overgrowth of blood vessels on eyes.



In general, wine is very helpful especially on improving one’s health. It helps us to live longer, improve mental capabilities  and enhance our hearts function daily as long as taken moderately.

A gorgeous and complex pinot noir that shows plums, blueberries, cherries, strawberries and rose petals. Hot stone and ginseng roots, too. Medium to full body, velvety and polished tannins with a fresh and mineral finish.

Deep ruby colored, the 2007 Amisfield RKV Reserve Pinot Noir has aromas of black berries, black cherries and mulberries with hints of stems, earth, moss and underbrush. Full-bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, it's showing just a hint of dried berry and savory flavor evolution, with a medium level of silky tannins, refreshing acid and a long and earthy finish.
